About this design
This breathtaking mural captures an enduring moment of maternal love and protection, rendered in a striking sculpted bas-relief style. A mother cradles her child close beneath a weathered umbrella, detailed with dimensional impasto textures and tactile raindrops. The earthy palette features muted terracotta, sun-baked clay, warm ochre, and deep slate, imparting the timeless quality of ancient carved stone infused with contemporary sculptural elegance.
Perfect for creating a sophisticated focal point, this design brings emotional warmth and soul to a living room, master bedroom, or dramatic entrance hall. It harmonises beautifully with organic materials, rustic timber, and neutral palettes, cultivating an atmosphere of serenity, security, and quiet grandeur. A magnificent celebration of African heritage, family devotion, and exquisite artistic craftsmanship.
